With your help we can make this dream possible. Help us to grow and help more people. \nEverything listed below is provided free to our Grandparents WITHOUT any support from local/State/Federal funding or Meals on Wheels of America. \nWe are 100% funded by Jesus and our community. \n746\, 511 + meals delivered since 2009! \n126\, 281+ meals cooked\, packaged and delivered in 2024! \nIn 2024\, we provided 891 Grandparents with: \n\n5 meals weekly (All with Scripture).\nA weekly devotional.\nWeekly visits with a delivery driver that cares.\nOpportunities for Care Team visits\, some leading to Salvation & Baptism.\nGifts for Valentines Day\, Easter baskets\, flowers for Mother’s Day\, mugs with letters for Father’s Day\, teddy bears with handmade crosses\, personalized recordings with a cake\, Thanksgiving turkey\, personalized Christmas\, and so much more.\n1\,549 handwritten cards for holidays\, birthdays\, and condolence cards to the families of the 61 Grandparents that passed away in 2024.\nA Family of brothers & Sisters in Christ Jesus who care about them.\n\nIn 2024\, with the help of over 400 volunteers and our community\, we ministered to or helped: \n\nOver 159 high school students.\nHundreds of HGTC staff and students\, provided with 1\,920 free meals.\nMultiple local businesses needing their day of service.\nCountless people in need of community service.\nHosted/empowered multiple missions teams from out of state.\n\nSince 2009\, we at Meals on Wheels of Horry & Georgetown County\, have become a trustworthy and important 501 (C)(3) tax exempt organization\, that continues to help restore purpose\, identity\, and hope to those most in need in our community.
