Vision Statement (The Dream – Future Impact)
To glorify Jesus by cultivating SEED — Sowing fresh, healthy food, Educating and Empowering volunteers and our community, and Distributing hope and provision — until every Meals on Wheels Kitchen and other ministries are self-sustainable, and the Kingdom of God flourishes through a fully self-sustaining farm that multiplies meals, healing, and transformed lives for generations.
Purpose Statement (The “Why” – Core Reason for Existence)
In response to the growing demand for meals, rising fuel and food costs, and economic changes, we are committed to keeping every meal free without any government funding so we can freely share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefore, the Meals on Wheels Community Farm exists to glorify Jesus by growing our own fresh, healthy food and becoming a self-sustaining resource for our current and future local Meals on Wheels kitchens and other ministries, all while sowing into, educating, empowering, and distributing to our community.
Mission Statement (The “What & How” – Present Day Action)
At The Meals on Wheels Community Farm, we grow abundant, nutrient-dense food using traditional and hydroponic methods, along with chickens and flowers. Modeled after the first Garden, we create a place of hope, healing, and unity where people come together in humble, joyful service to build connections, share God’s love, and advance His Kingdom — one garden, one meal, and one transformed life at a time.
